The Finished Good Planner must effectively analyze total demand and develop an achievable plan that balances service, inventory, and cost. The individual must show a high level of competence in decision making, risk management and cost analysis. The Finished Good Planner must work in partnership with Sourcing, Suppliers, and Logistics to develop, monitor and communicate a schedule that supports 100% customer service at the lowest possible cost. This person will be assigned to review New Items and manage re-buy decisions for finished goods and back up materials at S&OP, AIA, Demo Trend, Early Sell and 2 day; partner with the Supplier to develop and negotiate the best production and sailing schedule needed to support customer demand; communicate service outlook and develop strategies for all service shortfalls; and manage inventory levels with a key focus on reducing inventory days while improving service to our Representatives. The qualified candidate should have earned BA/BS degree with basic understanding of the fundamentals of Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering and Logistics; two to four years experience with MRP system; proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access is a requirement; knowledge of functional operations (production, material handling, purchasing, and finance); experience analyzing, preparing and communicating reports to production and planning with projected impact to the goals and objectives; must have a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures relative to customer service and inventory control; APICS certification recommended; must possess knowledge of MRP II concepts and ERP system functionality; detailed oriented, yet comprehend which issues to prioritize and which details to monitor, with the ability to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment; demonstrated experience in addressing issues to senior management, constantly look for processes in improving lead-times and eliminate non-value-added activities; and customer focused and have a sense of urgency with the ability to effectively function within a diversified team which utilizes matrix management.

An Analyst in Strategic Planning will provide analytic and strategic support to the entire team and will report to the Director of Strategic Planning. She/He must be able to analyze, synthesize and interpret business data and use a creative problem solving approach to solve critical business issues. The Technician performs routine and non-routine analysis of a chemical and physical nature on finished, raw and processed ingredients as well as Finished Stock samples; performs microbiological analyses on raw, processed, and finished ingredients; components and Finished Stock; utilizes prescribed methodology and technique in two of three laboratory areas (RI, FI or Micro), at minimum; and may function in the control of raw ingredients or finished stock via performance of sampling, inspections and recording.
