What is an Art Therapist?

Duties of an Art Therapist

Art therapist may also have to go to a number of different locations, so a driving license would be functional. The places can include psychiatric centers substance abuse centers, private practice, schools hospitals, prisons, day centers, community centers, schools and retirement homes.

Educational Requirements of an Art Therapist

A bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in a therapy associated subject are the necessary qualifications for this field. It can help individuals to have an official art training. Several practical practice in social service, or various supervised clinical experience is also frequently essential.
