Abt Electronics has since become the place to shop for many people in the Midwest. Starting with three employees in a small storefront in the Logan Square area of Chicago, Abt Electronics has grown to more than 1000 employees and occupies 37 acres in Glenview IL, a suburb of Chicago. Abt now operates 60 large delivery trucks, 45 custom installation trucks, and more than 100 service vans.

Abt Electronics Inc. Duties and Responsibilities

• Online Marketing Assistant

The candidate will work with marketing coordinator to identify key trends and looks to develop clear seasonal product message online. Use analytics to formulate trend and outfit merchandising, cross-sells, up-sells, promotions. Monitor and audit all product content and be the established for the online store quality and accuracy issues. Contribute to website functionality and feature set development. Work with Online Marketing Manager to formulate the seasonal schedule of landing page updates, email schedule, and product focused promos/features. Present seasonal overview to the web team and contribute to the conception, execution, and launch of seasonal projects and new site launches.

Online Marketing Assistant Salary: $34,000-$36,000

• PHP / .NET Application Developer

Abt Electronics is looking for a developer to build and support web and intranet PHP/.NET applications. Applicants should have a minimum of three years of application development experience, hands-on programming in full life-cycle projects with solid experience in PHP / .NET development, relational database systems, along with familiarity with identifying/resolving issues related to interoperability between systems. Must be able to troubleshoot, have good communication skills and an ability to work in a fast paced environment. Salary is based upon experience.

PHP / .NET Application Developer Salary: $56,000-$95,000

• Manager HVAC Division

They are currently hiring for a Manager to oversee the growth of our new HVAC division. Applicants must possess strong organizational skills, be computer proficient, and have at least 3 years experience in HVAC management. Candidate must be EPA certified hands on and able to assist at all levels of this division. Ideal candidates will be able to direct training programs for sales associates, oversee installation and service while providing a level of customer service that is consistent within our organization.

Manager HVAC Division Salary: $76,000-$83,000

• Computer Support Technician

Provide technical support and training to our computer customers. Stationed in a computer support department, your knowledge of computers and technology will be important to provide customer solutions to their issues. Mac and PC experience is preferred.

Computer Support Technician Salary: $29,000-$31,000

• Computer Sales Staff

Abt is looking for experienced computer sales staff. The ideal applicant must also have a vast knowledge of both Windows and Apple operating systems, computer hardware, software, and ultimately the willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.

Computer Sales Staff Hourly Salary: $11-$12

• Electronic Service Representative

Customer service position will deal with electronics. Must be familiar with home theater products and digital cameras, computer/smart phone knowledge is a plus. Position entails trouble shooting electronic products, educating customers on electronic operation and hookups, processing returns, and arranging in shop and in home repairs of electronics. Applicant should be outgoing and a problem solver with the ability to deal with the public.

Electronic Service Representative Salary: $37,000-$41,000

• Online Merchandiser

In this position you will be responsible for visual presentation of web content. Creates timely product page displays throughout site or defined area and creates an enjoyable, easy online shopping experience for the customer to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
