The Bryan Cave project lead will be responsible for managing small and large projects within the firm and mentor other project leads. This job role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of the specific projects. The candidate must be able to drive project requirements and deadlines, be able to lead skilled functional teams in more than one project, develop budget for assigned projects, monitor project progress, prepare progress reports for management, and interact with decision-makers by managing expectations to ensure all agreed upon deliverables are met cost-effectively. The individual must also be able to solve problems and manage project scope, manage large projects and ensure that they are completed on schedule, execute projects using firm-approved project management strategies and techniques, assists in maintaining appropriate project related metrics, and performing audits of completed projects. The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree, have a minimum of seven years of experience in project management, three years supervisory experience, be a certified associate from the project management institute, demonstrate expertise with priority assessment, documentation creation and management, excellent skills with automated tools for project management, and proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
