- Retail Implementation Manager
This position’s duties include the ability to ensure sustainable solution adoption of projects and initiatives by developing and maintaining the implementation plans for each project slated for rollout, managing the Multi-project rollout calendar to ensure strategic rollouts, developing and organizing project implementation documentation, preparing and communicating phased rollout plans and project schedule including the selection of pilot locations, identifying experts in the field to assure adoption of project/initiative and assisting in creating seamless transfer to program owner. Assures execution of solution through development and delivery of support materials by contributing to the development of roles, goals and expectations (policies) of the project, assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures including process flows, coordinating with Training management to ensure adequate training support and the development of training materials & schedule to coincide with rollout, contributing to the identification of KPIs and ensures reporting will be available upon rollout, coordinating with labor management to ensure adequate scheduling during the rollout period. Ensures stakeholder involvement and awareness of retail projects by conducting cross-functional analysis to determine those individuals, roles, departments, and projects impacted, developing and maintaining the holistic communication plan, preparing stakeholder and executive updates, involving change management team and methodology when behavioral or cultural changes are required during implementation. Assures project benefits are realized as expected after implementation by conducting benefit realization analysis after full implementation is completed along with Project Manager, verifying that solution (project) is feasible, executable, sustainable and mitigates risk, by conducting root cause analysis if benefits are not at expected levels, implementing benefits maintenance plan and continued validation of ROI and by implementing control plan for project stakeholders and owners. Ensures seamless project handoff to program owner through clear and organized project documentation, by preparing formal handoff communication and action, arranging and assuring adequate post-implementation support and resources are available, engaging in life-cycle planning if applicable to ensure benefits do not taper, scheduling post implementation tollgate to gain feedback and ensure documentation was satisfactory; and other duties as assigned by management.
