The Department for Work and Pensions which is also known as DWP is the biggest governing division in the United Kingdom that was created on June 8, 2001 from the fusion of the business part of the Department for Education and Employment and the Department of Social Security which is headed by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.

  • Department of Work and Pensions Administrative Officer Job Description

The Administrative Officer programs, creates and performs activities needed to come through the offices administrative functions. The Administrative Officer provides advisory work for the organization to which he or she assigned. The Administrative Officer works with supervisors and personnel expert to see personnel problems and concerns within the company. Provides alternative solutions to specific problems and collaborates with supervisors, managers and personnel specialists to resolve specific human resource problems. He or she also provides guidance to office on travel regulations and ensures the office’s travel practices meet established criteria. The Administrative Officer also functions to explain plans and gives assistance to the administration on the activity and assigned programs in the company. The Administrative Officer also works to identify personnel problems and provides alternative solutions to specific problems and systemic personnel issues.

The Executive Officer also promotes the firm by keeping a high public visibility and profile as well as presenting the company’s status to the board of directors.
