The Inventory Control Manager is accountable for developing and maintaining key strategies to augment inventory turns while declining the back order rate; examines backorder trends by seller and product line and develops tactics to advance them; supervises inventory turns, excess inventory and closeouts or terminated products; brings up to date and issues management rank document reporting on backorders, forecasting and open to buy; evaluates purchase order for over or under and talks about issues with assistant buyers; lines with buyers and team to build up action plans to attend to vendors’ observance while adhering to internal processes; runs a progression of reports on a day by day, weekly, monthly, year end basis and carries out thorough analysis of item performance; performs ad hoc analysis requiring the handling of complex excel spreadsheets; and supervises purchasing administrator and purchasing coordinator positions.

Inventory Control Manager Salary: $30,000.00-$60,000.00

  • Sales Associate
