Environmental Protection Agency Job Description

As proposed by former President Richard Nixon, the federal government of USA created an agency that drives to protect the health of human beings and the environment. The agency functions to write and enforce regulations basing on the laws that the congress has submitted. With 10 regional offices and 27 laboratories the EPA hires 17, 000 people primarily composed of engineers, scientists, and environment protection specialists who works hand in hand for the achievement of optimum human and environmental health.
