- King & Spalding Technical Analyst/Trainer Job Description
As a King & Spalding technical analyst/trainer, the individual will have to provide technical support and end-user documentation for the firm and is also responsible for hiring and providing backup training support. This job role consists of acting as a liaison with all IT groups in the company, coordinate the resolution, provide first and second level support to end users, establish technology operating standards, work closely with other teams to provide feedback, establish and maintain standard operating procedures, adhere to all change management control processes, provide support to the users, ability to learn and assist in other ITS areas, and remote access troubleshooting. The individual is also responsible for describing the hardware problems to technical support, conduct training classes, assist in the development of training material, assist in development of course assessment, ability to assist with course content changes, and perform necessary research using on-line services. The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of training and technical support, strong knowledge of DMS, understanding of Microsoft office suite, law firm experience, and must be willing to work weekends. The firm will provide all the needed training and support.

King & Spalding senior technical analyst main job responsibility is to provide technical assistance on the firm’s software. The individual must provide level two support, apply application packaging and distribution (IMX) technologies, act as a liaison with all ITS groups, adhere to technology operating standards, provide second level diagnostics and support, design and document BCP practices, work closely with business units, determine application specifications, lead pilot groups for new initiatives, work with other systems personnel to resolve system issues, and communicate with outside support to solve issues. The firm will provide all the needed training and support.
He/She must be also provide support to network users for office automation applications, document standard operating procedures used by the department, participate in disaster recovery continuity planning tests, contribute to the TA knowledge base, and participate in deployments and new initiatives.
