Latham & Watkins business development coordinator must be able to assist in the development of its marketing strategies. Since this is a team oriented environment, the candidate will have to report directly to the business development manager. The main functions would consist of coordinating seminars and events, help attorneys develop relevant presentation topics, plan seminars to promote attorney expertise, coordinate special events, produce local pitch books, and conduct follow-up with key attorneys. The individual will also have to update and maintain local marketing materials, coordinate public relations, develop relationships with event co-sponsorship managers, participate in community projects, conduct research of prospective targets, and stay abreast of the local company’s best practices. This job position requires at least 3 years of experience in the business development area, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, knowledge in MS Office, and ability to perform under pressure.
