Morgan, Lewis & Bockius billing assistant must review MCBS and accounts receivable reports for assigned attorneys and generate month-end proformas. The individual must also be able to review proformas to ensure accuracy of time, distribute proformas to attorneys, process transfers throughout proformas, draft bills, prepare final bills and ensure bills are prepared for assigned partners. He/she is responsible for the preparation of reports, preparing custom reports through the elite billing system, creating word documentation, researching unbilledd time, outstanding accounts receivable, and table reports through elite billing system, answer client inquiries, perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must have excellent mathematical aptitude, support the firm’s service-oriented goals, outstanding organizational skills, strong knowledge in MS office, and 2 years previous elite billing experience. Morgan, Lewis & Bockius manager, marketing and practice development will have to report to the LEPG Director of Marketing and Practice Development. The job role will require the individual to perform daily practice marketing activities and implement LEPG strategic business plans, support attorneys and marketing/practice development colleagues, manage practice events and online webcast productions, support practice group and firm marketing and public relations initiatives, research and create client and industry briefing materials. The individual must also draft internal and external communications, manage mailing lists, develop speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations, collaborate with other marketing, to advance firm goals. The ideal candidate will have to have a bachelor’s degree in MBA, a minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing development, have knowledge of the competitive landscape major national law firms, demonstrate capacity to implement strategic business plans, and have excellent writing and presentation skills.
