The Web Editor coordinates Product Manager requests for Product Tours; locates and acquires creative assets (freelancers or contractors) for production of Product Tours; edits, approves and activates Product Tour materials; coordinates with our China Team for highlight and image creation and approval; reviews and edits proposed SEO text; reviews and edits additional text from other writers on staff for content suitability, grammar, comprehensibility and effectiveness; writers scripts for Video Department; writes additional FAQ and other text as requested; work on special content projects as requested by the Content Manager.

- Verifications Agent
The Verifications Agent would be responsible for calling credit card issuer banks and using other forms of valid methods of address verification; constantly sort thru orders by last edit date to make sure that oldest dated orders are given first priority; complete the initial verification of information on an account such as Name, Bill to address, Ship to address if needed, and phone number; adding the results and note any suspicious activity or additional information needed that was not already provided in the account; occasionally assist with expedited verification on orders needing special handling; and other duties as assigned.

The Sr. Director of Internal Audit manage projects within time budget constraints while maintaining quality standards satisfactory to the Audit Committee and to Newegg’s independent auditors; implement an annual audit plan; collect, analyze and document the results of internal audits and investigations, communicate observations and recommendations to senior management for remediation and for improving business, financial and information technology processes; work with top management to develop tools and techniques to strengthen risk management and internal controls; prepare formal written reports backed by adequate evidence to support independent auditor’s opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of internal control; participate in company wide risk assessments, evaluate coverage levels, and control weaknesses; perform special analyses and reviews upon request, including system implementations and/or corporate compliance investigations; approve audit programs and testing procedures to ensure appropriateness for the areas in scope an that audit/other projects are executed in accordance with Company and professional standards; oversee the quality of work performed by the audit staff to ensure compliance with company auditing standards and that conclusions are adequately supported; communicate effectively with management to discuss audit observations and recommendations and complete audit reports; keep management informed of emerging trends and successful practices in auditing and controls testing; execute detailed audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports and policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness; advocate and maintain the highest standard of ethics, discipline and professionalism; instruct, supervise, direct, mentor and counsel audit staff; monitor and promptly respond to whistleblower hotline reports, and be primarily responsible for maintaining a robust and effective whistleblower policy; and other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Board, the Audit Committee and top management.
