O’Melveny & Myers internal audit manager is responsible for developing an overall audit plan in coordination with the firm’s senior financial management team and be involved with special projects related to financial and operational matters. The individual will have to review existing internal control policies, operating expenses, make recommendations for improvements, review the time used for other matters with compliance with revenue recognition policies, controls over cash, reviewing changes in partners’ equity accounts. He/she is also responsible for testing the accuracy of the payroll, perform site visits to international offices, perform testing to ensure that practices are in compliance with our firm’s policies and procedures, assist in developing and implementing the overall risk management functions with other departments. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, well organized; possess strong analytical, project management and report writing skills, a minimum of 3 years of related audit experience is required along with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
