Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe chief practice officer must be an individual who has the enthusiasm to work for improvement at the firm. As the chief practice officer, the individual will serve as the advisor to the senior partner and managing partner of the litigation division, make strategic planning and execution, financial performance management, inventory management, recruit lawyers, business development, marketing and client relations, and internal meetings and communications. The ideal candidate must have a degree in business administration, law degree or MBA; have more than ten years of related experience, seven years experience in senior management capacity, efficient and effective project management, financial management and human resources, excellent communication skills, ability to develop strong professional working relationships, and ability to motivate members of the firm.

  • Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe Marketing & Business Development Manager Job Description

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe marketing & business development manager must work closely with the senior staff of the law firm in directing and providing marketing support for the development and ongoing preparation of marketing and business development plans and programs. The individual must be able to work closely with the research and competitions team to design and analyze reports on research being conducted, work along with the client research program in business development and marketing methods, and work alongside the communications team to create media opportunities and create content for the firm’s website. The ideal candidate must have a B.A. or B.S, five-seven years marketing experience, law firm experience, excellent writing and analytical skills, strong leadership skills, strong project management skills, and excellent organizational and analytical skills.
