Payless ShoeSource Inc. Duties and Responsibilities

• Sales Associate

Sales Associate must be aware of Store layout and be able to take action to Customers’ questions about the locality of products, fee and return policies without delay and in a well-mannered fashion. Sales Associate must be comprehensible in their interactions with the entire customers. Sales Associate must be able to enter data into records to achieve different dealings. Sales Associate is in charge for correctly recording transactions and constructing changes. Sales Associate will be held accountable for subsequent cash security measures and ensuring the security of dues entrusted to them. Sales Associate must be able to understand small print to confirm cost, style, and size on items at the Point-of-Sale register throughout delivery processing and at the same time maintaining racks throughout the day. Sales Associate must process paperwork linked with all forms of Point-of-Sale transactions. Sales Associate must wrap up a Customers’ purchases, unassisted, in bags provided for this purpose. Sales Associate must be able to move about without restraint all through the Store to monitor customers and approaching customers, make available service, and become aware of indications of robbery or other security risks. Sales Associate must have the handiness and physical ability to take delivery and shift cases of products weighing up to forty pounds. Sales Associate must have the aptitude to go after a colorized rack arrangement, position and counterpart mismatch and move products in and out of overstock. Sales Associate must have the physical dexterity and movement enough to alter prices and tag products as directed on a day by day basis. Sales Associate must be skilled of varying Store displays and signs. This time and again procedure requires the capacity to go up and down the step ladders.
