Redcats USA Duties and Responsibilities
- Oracle EBS Systems Administrator
This position provides systems level support, monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning and ad-hoc database reporting for the Oracle EBS suite implementation at RUSA, TGW, & URG currently utilizing the Financials Module. Interacts with Financial Functional Management; IT Development; IT Systems; and the end user community to maintain business requirements; IT uptime requirements; and assist with developing best practices; monitors, troubleshoots and tunes all tiers of the Oracle Applications technology stack, utilizing canned and custom created scripts and tools; performs clones, backups, environment refreshes, and custom code releases; researches and implements all relevant security and functional patches; performs ad-hoc database reporting utilizing PL/SQL; acts as a technology consultant to assist IT development and functional leadership implement strategic initiatives; both in reference to functional use as well as IT infrastructure planning; researches and recommends system improvements, either by re-architecting the hardware or tech stack tier layouts; provides guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for client side troubleshooting; off hour code and patch release work, as well as 24×7 on-call troubleshooting is required; and other duties as assigned in support of business requirements.
