The Yankee Candle Co. Inc. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Store Manager

As a Retail Store Manager, you will be accountable for the administration and headship of a Yankee Candle Store. You shall manage and compel daily sales presentation, uphold service and set standards. Your duties also include supervising, teaching, counseling and exercising employees on sales program. You shall ensure sufficient recruitment, providing better customer service, retaining store facilities and ensuring protection and safety for visitors and employees. The store manager is responsible in preparing currency reports and products orders and other a like duties pertaining to the organization of a retail store. The Retail Store Manager provides bearing and guidance to a Yankee Candle Retail Store. He or she shall make sales & productivity, provides very good visitor service, and ensures image merchandising or appearance and operational principles. The store manager must recruit staffs, coaches and build up store management teams and sales associates as a part of the company’s Succession Plan. He or she must meet or go beyond divisional and store sales and productivity goals.

Store manager payment: $35,000.00

  • Assistant Store Manager

As a Retail Store Assistant Manager, you will be accountable for supporting in the administration and headship of a Yankee Candle Store. You shall be in charge in managing and lashing day by day sales performance, preserve service and operational principles. You must be supervising, educating, counseling and instructing employees on ASAP sales program ensuring enough employment, providing greater customer service and keeping store facilities. You shall be certain of the protection and safety measures for visitors and employees. You should also be preparing currency reports and retail orders and further related tasks pertaining to the supervision of a retail store. The Retail Store Assistant Manager provides help in the track and control to a Yankee Candle Retail Store. He or she must impel sales and effectiveness, offer ideal visitor service and ensure image merchandising or arrangement and operational values. The assistant store manager may also employ, staff, coach and expand store management teams and sales contacts as part of the company’s Succession Plan. The assistant store manager shall meet or surpass divisional and store sales and effectiveness goals.
