Vinson & Elkins paralegal – intellectual property main job responsibility is to provide case support in all phases of litigation. The candidate must have knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and familiarity with the local rules of various courts, knowledge with e-discovery rules and document collection procedures, case management and lead experience. He/she will have to draft routine correspondence and litigation documents, prepare status reports, conduct electronic searches, and research for technical references, assists in due diligence searches, and coordinates large document collections and productions. The individual should have experience with document review projects and drafting privilege logs, be detail oriented and organized, familiar with MS office suite, intellectual property office databases, bachelor’s degree, at least eight years experience as an IP litigation paralegal support in a large firm.

Vinson & Elkins library services specialist will be required to perform library acquisition functions that consist of ordering materials, processing the payment of library invoices, collect and maintain the acquisitions module of the library’s integrated software system, accurately track budget items, ensure the budget is spent rightly, maintains library collection, handles acquisition of materials, matches invoices to materials received, forwards for payment in a timely manner, organize recorded copies of all invoices. The individual must also be able to access and convert invoice data from various third party electronic database vendors, maintain the overall reliability of the system, coordinate the bookkeeping and payment of library materials account, assist in resolving database issues and maintains professional customer service and account representative relationships. The ideal candidate needs to have knowledge of Microsoft software, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well with others, able to meet strict deadlines, bachelor’s degree, two to three years library experience, experience in budgeting and law firm.
