An Entrepreneur is one who uses his knowledge in finance along with his business acumen in transforming a product which will be profitable to him or to his company.

Duties of an Entrepreneur

  • An Entrepreneur has to have initiative. Since the world of business is evolving everyday, one must be able to come up with newer products and services to entice the customer to do business with you.
  • An Entrepreneur has to know how to work with others. In the world of business, one will meet different types of personalities with different backgrounds in life and experiences. Therefore knowing how to reach out to others with the most effective way of communication is a must in order for the business to flourish.
  • Any leader has to have planning and organization as his backbone. Being an Entrepreneur, one must be able to develop a system for you to be able to run your business smoothly. This system will allow you to evaluate areas of your business in terms of inventory, manpower and production rate.
  • An Entrepreneur should take it upon himself to get educated on the type of business he wants to venture in. Learning is like practice in sports. When you immerse your self in your business everyday, you make yourself aware of so many issues that in the long run you will be able to address certain issues even with just mere observation.

Work condition of an Entrepreneur

  • An Entrepreneur should reside where his business is. Many businesses have bled and seen its death with the absence of its leaders. Of course, there is such a thing as delegating. However the depth of one’s delegation to his subordinate is, an Entrepreneur should always have frequent access to the entire system of his business.
  • An Entrepreneur has to manage his time with the best of his ability. In this way family and business will never be neglected.

Educational Requirements of an Entrepreneur

  • Some Entrepreneurs are not even graduates of a certain Business degree, however this does not mean that you finishing a bachelor’s degree is not important. To any known Entrepreneur, education coupled with experience in the business industry will guarantee better management of your business enterprise.
  • However for Entrepreneurs who wish to join a corporation, an Entrepreneurship degree or even a Master’s degree is a must to guarantee certain positions.

Occupation and Progress of an Entrepreneur

In a world full of changes and demanding needs, many have gone from being white-collared job employees to Entrepreneurs. Most often the unstable chances of an employment, opens up opportunities for those who see themselves as being able to manage their own businesses. The market at present is vastly changing in that many seek services at present, which were not available to us five years ago. Having said this, there are numerous products and services yet to be created. It is therefore up to the Entrepreneur to make these available to the public and creating demand for the world to see.
