ORTHOTIC PROSTHETIC TECHNICIAN

I was the prosthetic technician for soldiers who were injured in the service of the country.

  • I prepared each patient’s prosthetic piece and fitted it to their limb(s).
  • I worked with the patient in the therapy room helping them to get adjusted to the prosthetics.
  • I assisted the patient in making adjustments or repairs.

CHARLESTON VA HOSPITAL – Any Town, USA 1997 to 2000

ORTHOTIC PROSTHETIC TECHNICIAN

I worked in this hospital as their full time Orthotic prosthetic Technician.

  • I created prosthetics for patients who lost their limbs from land mines.
  • I repaired prosthetics for patients who were in need of repair or replacement.
  • I worked with the therapist to help patient use the prosthetics.
